- Who are we?
Strutbracer has been a dedicated supplier of OMP strut braces since 2001. We only sell brand new strut braces made by OMP in Italy.
- What is a strut brace?
In basic terms a strut brace is a piece of metal that attaches to the suspension mounting points to improve the rigidity of the chassis. Strut braces are a very popular tuning part for road use and probably the cheapest way to improve the suspension. By strengthening the suspension turrets, the suspension geometry is kept stable by reducing the movement of the inner wings, increasing road holding and reducing tyre wear. They are strongly recommended for cars with low profile tyres.
- What are they made from?
OMP strut braces are available in a variety of materials and finishes. The most common form is a high quality steel brace finished in a red hardened paint. However they are very easy to paint or spray yourself, so you can customise them any way you like. Other than steel, some of the braces are also available in lightweight aluminium in a polished or matt finish with a special anti-oxidising finish. Some of the latest strut braces available are made from extruded aluminium with adjustable ends and steel flanges. There are also limited edition colours and finishes available at certain times.
- Are they easy to fit and how do I do it?
Please see our fitting guide.

You can pay by credit or debit card using the hugely popular online payment system PAYPAL. To pay by PAYPAL all you need to do is add the items to the basket, and click the "Pay Now" button to check out, the simply follow the PAYPAL instructions.
- How do I change or remove an order from my shopping basket?
If you would like to remove an item from your basket simply change the quantity to zero and click update. The same process applies to changing the quantity of any item.
- How do I cancel a completed order?
Cancellations are subject to our terms and conditions. You need to inform us by email within 7 days of the order date.
- How soon do you send the strut brace after payment has been received?
If your strut brace is in stock it will be dispatched within 72 working hours if you have paid by PAYPAL. If you have sent a cheque, it will take five working days for your cheque to clear before we can process your order.
- What if my strut brace is not in stock?
Please be aware we carry huge stocks of strut braces for all cars, so if we havent got it in stock the chances are no one else in UK will have it either! If your strut brace is not in stock it means it will probably be on a back order from the manufacturers waiting for delivery. In this case we will inform you of the back order status and an estimated delivery date. Some of the rare strut braces that we dont sell that often are ordered from the manufacturers when an order comes in for one, if the manufacturers have it in stock it will take about a week to arrive.
- How much is postage and packing?
Please use the shopping basket to find out the postage rate to your location. Add the items to your basket, then click on your country from the drop down list - this will show the postage cost and total price.
- How is my strut brace posted?
All our strut braces are sent by tracked and insured courier. We use Parcel Force 24/48hr services in the UK, Euro48 sevrice to Europe and Scheduled service to worldwide destinations. We have online tracking facilities and proof of delivery receipts so you can be sure exactly where your brace is at all times in transit.
- How is my strut brace packed?
Your strut brace is treated with great care and attention. It is bubble wrapped heavily to protect it during transit. It is then placed in a custom designed strong box to ensure it is nice and safe when it arrives with you!
- What should I do when my strut brace arrives?
This is very important! Before signing for your delivery off the courier, please check the box and contents to ensure they are not damaged. If they show any possible sign of damage please sign for the delivery as "damaged" or "unchecked". If you later discover your item has been damaged by the courier but you did not sign for it as damaged, then we cannot make a claim off the courier for the damaged goods. When you sign for the delivery, you are signing for as "accepted in good condition".

If the strut brace does not fit your model please email us immediately on sales@strutbracer.co.uk with the part number and your exact engine, model, specification and date of registration. We will investigate what brace you bought and why it will not fit. We can then offer you an exchange or refund.
